On August 29-30, 2020, a climbing festival was held in Sveri. The festival was organized by Georgian Climbers Club and hosted by Sveri Adventure Camp. The general sponsor of the festival was Georgian Manganeze, while the sponsors were Shop Mogzauri, M + and climbing gym S.K. Lucky. The aim of the festival was to promote climbing as one of the active and outdoor sports and to attract people in to a healthy lifestyle, as well as to show the potential of adventure tourism of village Sveri and Chiatura municipality as a whole. Pro climbers from, as well as beginners and amateurs could take part in the festival. Also, anyone could come to the festival as a spectator.
